As an Intern, you'll sit at the intersection of two of the most commercially critical functions at Uber Eats: bringing new restaurants onto the platform, and making sure they actually succeed once they're there. You're not just onboarding merchants, you're shaping the quality of a three-sided marketplace that connects Eaters, Merchants, and Couriers across one of Europe's most demanding food delivery landscapes.
Think of this as the role where you develop the commercial instincts of a salesperson and the relationship depth of an Account Manager before you have to choose between them.
France is one of Uber Eats' most important markets globally. It consistently ranks among Uber Eats' top countries worldwide, and Paris is one of the most competitive, food-obsessed, delivery-mature cities on the planet. The widespread adoption of delivery platforms has significantly expanded consumer access to restaurants, pushing offerings well beyond fast food into gourmet meals, bakery items, and premium dining and that evolution is only accelerating. France has one of the most mature online food delivery markets in Europe, driven by high urbanisation and widespread smartphone usage, which means the bar for merchant quality, performance, and experience is genuinely high.
WHAT YOU'll DO:
- Campaign execution: Build and manage promotional campaigns with merchant partners, optimising for ROI and incremental revenue growth. You'll understand the levers that drive a partner's bottom line and pull them.
- Funnel analysis: Dig into weekly data to identify where merchants are dropping off or underperforming, and bring structured recommendations to fix it. This is where your Excel or Sheets skills become a commercial tool, not just a task.
- Cross-functional problem solving: Partner with Sales, Operations, and Support to unblock launches, resolve issues fast, and keep the delivery ecosystem moving. You'll see how decisions in one team ripple across the whole business.
- Menu & offer quality: Work directly with merchants to craft menus that convert. You'll develop a sharp eye for what makes a product listing perform and use that to improve partner outcomes from day one.
- Merchant communication: Be the clear, empathetic voice that turns a partner's confusion into a concrete plan. High volume, real stakes, meaningful impact.
WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT:
You'll develop commercial acumen that's directly relevant to both Sales (pipeline thinking, conversion, partner acquisition) and Account Management (relationship building, performance ownership, retention). Whether you're drawn toward a quota-carrying sales career or a strategic AM path post-graduation, this role gives you the fluency to go either way with real experience to back it up.
