Position Summary
The Academic Integrity Coordinator assists with implementing the academic integrity process and promoting a culture of academic honesty at the university. These responsibilities include managing cases of alleged academic misconduct, facilitating mediation sessions between complainants and student respondents, and communicating and educating the university community about the academic integrity policy.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Academic Integrity Coordinator (AIC) is responsible for managing cases of alleged violations of the academic integrity policy. This includes engaging with complainants and students to address reported incidents of alleged academic misconduct and facilitating mediation sessions and hearings. The AIC is responsible for implementing the academic integrity process in a prompt and equitable manner.
- The AIC works collaboratively with the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards to formally investigate and adjudicate cases of academic misconduct and ensure the accuracy of reporting and documentation in the academic integrity database.
- The AIC works collaboratively with faculty and academic departments to facilitate educational programming related to academic integrity and support the integration of academic integrity principles into the curriculum. Additionally, the AIC works to inform faculty of the pathways available to them when they encounter potential acts of academic misconduct.
- Works collaboratively with key stakeholders across the university to design and implement large scale programs to increase community awareness of academic integrity policies and resources. This includes working with student organizations and student ambassadors to build a strong community of academic scholars that value and embrace academic integrity.
- The AIC will support the senior coordinator in ensuring the accuracy of the database used for academic integrity and maintains compliance with university policy and legal regulations.

Salary Range
$49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
