Your Impact
Real Time Awareness (RTA) is a key initiative focused on applying Axon's technology for domestic law enforcement and public safety. As an Account Executive, you will partner with Axon's US sales team to sell RTA products and services to state and local law enforcement agencies. You will excel at articulating complex solutions, building senior-level relationships, and selling technical solutions in an emerging market. Additionally, you will provide technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and product training.
What You'll Do
- Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon's RTA products and technologies to sell to law enforcement agencies across your territory.
- Partner with the broader sales team as a functional expert on the Air program to promote RTA offerings.
- Generate leads and pursue opportunities using various sources like Google alerts and RFPs.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their business and workflows.
- Develop and execute account strategies collaboratively to deliver impactful value propositions.
- Make forecast predictions, update account management, collect competitor intelligence, and provide marketing feedback.
- Track customer activity in Salesforce and other systems to drive account strategy and identify opportunities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience as a SaaS Account Executive.
- Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office suite.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 60%+ within your territory.
- Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven success in strategic account growth and acquisition.
- Collaborative team player supporting colleagues.
- Consultative sales approach focused on long-term customer success.
- End-to-end sales process expertise including prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
- Entrepreneurial mindset for building new initiatives.
- Startup experience and vertical market knowledge are a plus.

Compensation includes uncapped commissions and a base salary starting between USD 60,000 to USD 120,000 depending on market and experience, with an average commission target of USD 200,000. Total on-target earnings combine base pay and commissions.
