Teladoc Health is a global healthcare company focused on transforming the healthcare experience. The Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Team Lead oversees daily operations of the collections team to support financial goals. Responsibilities include supervising collectors, coaching, training, process oversight, monitoring performance, reporting, and supporting planning and forecasting activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor daily team performance, providing guidance to ensure effective collections strategies and timely account resolution.
- Review and resolve escalated collection issues from collectors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Support collections forecasting and planning aligned with organizational goals.
- Research and reconcile AR balances, ensure accurate payment allocation and billing for timely resolution.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify issues and improve results.
- Ensure complete and equitable portfolio coverage among team members.
- Oversee quality audits and prepare productivity reports to meet performance standards.
- Coordinate meetings to address customer issues, assign actions, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Lead special projects assigned by management and recommend process improvements.
- Provide training and coaching to AR staff, including onboarding and ongoing development.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Order to Cash processes including contracts, billing, collections, and accounting principles.
- Advanced meeting facilitation skills to drive actionable steps.
- Experience with Oracle platform preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or SME experience in Order-to-Cash functions.
- Ability to analyze accounts conceptually and analytically.
- Experience in publicly traded company and B2B collections preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; team-oriented.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Workplace: Hybrid role, based in Lewisville, TX; candidate must be willing to commute.
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year with performance bonus and benefits.
