We are hiring Registered Nurses for Med Surg West Des Moines (3rd or 5th floor). Nurses deliver individualized, high-quality patient care using team approaches and professional judgment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning and implementation, use of safe patient handling techniques, ongoing evaluation, and emergency support measures.

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care ensuring patient comfort.
• Practice safe patient handling.
• Evaluate patients and provide ongoing treatment.
• Respond to educational and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Guide healthcare personnel in patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of medical equipment setup and use.
• Initiate emergency support procedures as needed.

Unit: Med Surg West Des Moines (3rd or 5th floor)

5th Floor Sign-On Bonus:

• $15,000 with a 2-year commitment (paid over 2 years)

Eligibility: RNs with at least 2 years of experience.

Schedule: Day Shift (7AM-7PM) and Night Shift (7PM-7AM) available.

• Full Time - 36 hours/week
• Part Time - 24 hours/week

Requirements:

• Current or compact state RN licensure (Iowa)
• 1 year nursing experience for Day Shift
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter completion
• Child/Dependent Adult Abuse Training within 3 months of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire
