Join Mission Australia as an Administration Officer and play a key role in supporting their teams and programs that make a real difference in people's lives. The role involves managing a variety of administrative tasks including coordinating meetings and events, maintaining records, assisting with reporting and compliance, and supporting projects across the office. The position ensures smooth operations, builds relationships with stakeholders, and creates welcoming environments to deliver service that improves community wellbeing.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and assisting with day-to-day office operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, correspondence, and documentation to support programs and compliance.
- Coordinate agendas, take detailed minutes, and ensure follow-up on meeting actions.
- Support program and project activities such as data collection, reporting, quality assurance, and document preparation.
- Manage office resources, order equipment, organise maintenance contractors, and maintain inventories.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to support collaboration and service delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to enquiries and supporting a welcoming professional environment.
Requirements for success
- Associate Diploma, Certificate in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in office administration, diary management, reporting and secretarial duties.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders professionally.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial or program management systems.
