
Ensure the highest level of quality during product development and launch phases by driving compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory expectations. The role is responsible for assessing project quality readiness, mitigating risks, and supporting a smooth transition into serial production.
Project & Quality Governance
Provide quality governance across development and launch phases
Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality, customer, and regulatory requirements prior to release
Assess project quality readiness at key milestones (design freeze, validation completion, production launch)
Design, Validation & Risk Oversight
Review and challenge design assumptions and validation results to ensure robustness and alignment with customer requirements
Monitor quality and technical risks throughout development and escalate when necessary
Oversee identification and management of special characteristics across design, validation, and manufacturing
Failure Prevention & Knowledge Management
Ensure effectiveness and quality of FMEA processes
Confirm that risks are properly identified, mitigated, and validated before release
Lead lessons learned and read-across activities across projects
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce launch risks and recurring issues
Launch & Production Readiness
Lead quality readiness evaluations prior to production start
Coordinate and support PPAP / PPA activities
Ensure documentation accuracy and customer approval readiness
Support manufacturing sites during launch to ensure process stability and early issue containment
Customer & Issue Management
Act as the quality escalation point for customers during development and launch
Lead or support structured problem-solving processes (e.g., 8D, OPL)
Verify effectiveness and sustainability of corrective actions
Ensure proper issue closure before handover to serial production
Key competences:
Proven experience in quality, preferably in manufacturing or automotive environment
Strong knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, 8D, APQP, risk management
Experience in project-based work (NPI, product launch)
Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and make quality-driven decisions
Strong customer communication and escalation management skills
Good command of English
Ability to work in cross-functional and international environments
Proactive mindset, accountability, and strong organizational skills
Work in a modern, robotic machine park
