The Salvation Army Youth Services support young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by providing crisis accommodation, case management support, and safe, nurturing environments that promote stability,independenceand wellbeing. Our services focus on creating Psychologically Informed Environments and supporting young people to build the skills they need for independence.
About the role
As anAfter‑HoursYouth Support Worker, this is your opportunity to provide consistent, professional support to young peopleresidingin crisis accommodation. You will help create a therapeutic,safeand welcoming environment while supporting the implementation of case management plans andassistingyoung people to build essential life skills.
Reporting to theAfter-Hours ClientServices Coordinator, this is a casual onsite position, locatedinShepperton,Victoria.
Conditions
Compensation is in accordance with the SCHADS Award – Level 3.
