The Data Management Lead role will build and manage a team of individuals responsible for all activities necessary to support the Data Use Council. The manager will set direction for the team acting as an escalation point for issues. This role will include oversight and monitoring of AI/ML use cases across CCB, ensuring compliance with the firm's AI/ML Governance and Oversight Firmwide Standard. This role will work directly with the AI/ML Governance Lead and Firmwide CDAO teams throughout the AI/ML use case lifecycle. As a Data Management Lead on the Data Use Council Team, you will coordinate with requesters and Control Partners from Controls, Legal, Compliance and Risk to evaluate data use requests and present those assessments to the firm's Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO). In addition, you will be required to work with your partners to identify legal, contractual, operational, and reputational risks. A key and growing responsibility of the Data Use Council includes review of Models, focusing on AI/ML and other emerging technologies. This role will support the CCB AI Governance Program Office and help ensure CCB maintains effective oversight of related Standards and Procedures. Job Responsibilities include overseeing AI/ML use cases for compliance, collaborating with CDAO and stakeholders, demonstrating leadership, prioritizing data use requests, coordinating reviews, working with internal clients, establishing communication practices, and partnering for monitoring. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, legal, decision science, data management or related field with 5+ years of experience, prior experience in Data Governance, Estimation/Modeling Development, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Risk, Controls, or Audit, experience managing teams, strategic planning skills, analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, a proactive attitude, and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with technical concepts, knowledge of PII and data management concepts, proficiency in MS Office tools, and working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, or Python.
