Performs preventive maintenance services and minor mechanical repair work on light duty vehicles, medium duty vehicles, heavy duty vehicles, Lawn & Turf equipment, and Motorcycles. Assists other mechanics, prepares maintenance records, and performs related duties. Works under supervision following policies and procedures. Inspects, tests, repairs vehicles and equipment, maintains records, changes tires, transports vehicles, and maintains shop facilities. Requires basic automotive knowledge, computer skills, tools, high school diploma or GED, and possibly automotive/diesel certification.
