Number of students per group can vary from 6 to 8. Experience developing learning contracts. Demonstrated conflict resolution, oral/written communication skills.

Requirements (Faculty)

B.Sc.N. with recent experience in obstetrics. Certain clinical partners require work experience on their units in order to work as a Clinical Instructor. As a condition of employment at UOttawa, the chosen candidate must be in good standing with the site where clinical teaching is to occur. Requirements of individual hospitals/worksites are available upon request.

Condition of Employment

Current registration as RN or NP in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Course Schedule:

Rotation 1: January 20 – February 12, 2027
Rotation 2 : February 17 – March 12, 2027
Rotation 3 : March 17 – April 9 or 10, 2027

Additional Comments for Posting

Applicant cannot be teaching the same course during the same semester as they are coordinating.
Previous experience as a clinical instructor preferred.

We will extend the end date on the contract to allow time to complete the on-line students’ evaluation. Participation at team meetings is mandatory (dates to be determined).
