JOB SUMMARY

Perform back-end and box-build assembly processes to ensure on time shipments of a quality product. To work in an efficient manner according to workmanship standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
• Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory system.
• Manually assemble systems using specific tooling, torque drivers, and hardware at a predetermined run rate.
• Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bin or Kanban locations.
• Maintain certification and/or proficiency in several assembly operations.
• Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies.
• Execute Purge process as needed and maintain production equipment functionality via preventative maintenance.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness at all times.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and security rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to calculate quantity of parts and prepare them ready for use.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Problem definition and data collection skills.
• Computer proficiency with Windows OS and specific software packages.
• Basic writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
• Basic math skills including rate, ratio, percent computations and graph interpretation.
