As an Associate in the APAC Fee Billing team, you will be responsible for invoicing institutional clients for our investment management services and be an integral part of our broader Taiwan Operations. You will part of the team that is responsible for charging fees for both management and performance on a variety of financial services and instruments, such as investment funds. Your team in Taiwan oversees fee billing matters for all APAC institutional clients, serving a diverse client base across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and interacts with the Japan team that does billing for Japan clients.
Job Responsibilities
• Review client agreements as it pertains to fee calculation methods, provide input to client service to negotiate with the client
Support the calculation of management and performance fees based on client agreementsAssist in generating and delivering invoices to clients in a timely mannerEnsure invoices are accurate and include all necessary detailsConnect with fee billing teams in US and Japan to ensure alignment and consistencyLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate controls are in placeMonitor and control day to day fee billing operations to ensure compliance with businessUndertake projects supporting new business initiatives and regulatory requirements, development of services, system testing and handling workflow when requiredDrive ongoing efficiency and to participate in initiatives by optimizing, managing and maintaining operational processes, and building out related technology requirementsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience within financial services industry
Great attention to details with good problem solving skillAbility to network with internal stakeholder community to foster relationships across functions and/or locationsWilling to accept challenges and changes - a highly adaptive individual who embraces cross-functional rotationsGood communication skills in both English and MandarinPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor degree or above preferred
