What you'll do:
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
To manage and execute indirect sourcing activities for assigned commodities while ensuring effective indirect material planning and scheduling that meets customer requirements and supports seamless material flow across the supply chain.
The position is responsible for driving cost optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives, identifying and implementing savings opportunities, and developing effective commodity strategies.
Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Manage supplier selection, development, negotiation, and performance to achieve cost savings, OTD, and long-term partnerships.Drive cost-out projects for indirect material.Achieving monthly spending within budget.Ensure optimization of logistics for material movement.Scrap management for direct / indirect material.Maintain PFEP (Oracle Based) in Stores- Location, Shelf-Life, FIFO,5'S in stores, Yellow Marking, Lane identifications, Trolley Marking, Daily Discipline in Handling of Parts in Stores - OngoingImplementation of processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures in stores function across plants, Utilization of storage space by planning inventory volumes & optimum store space utilization & ensure adherence to various norms and safety conditions in the process.Review shortages of materials and ensure action steps for fulfilment of shortages, Timely availability of stores items, spares & raw materials, by efficiently coordinating & planning with the purchase team.Ensure Assembly and Machining shop loading as per KANBAN/Daily loading plan in all the 3 shiftsConsumables stored as per the applicable storage guidelines pertaining to temperature, volume, hazardous material, etc.Ensure on time GRR Transactions (Real Time) in all 3 Shifts -Explore and Implement Industry 4.0 Concept (WMS, Barcode Scanners)Explore and Implement KANBAN MethodologySlow-Moving & Non-Moving Analysis and ImprovementReview In-warding Materials- Online GRN and 100% Part counting for Receipt ProcessAfter inspection of material, Physical handover the material to the inventory section.
Provide the proper information about the material stock to all internal customersSupervise stock, storage space and preservation standards of all material.
Ensure Inventory Adjustments on time, Root cause analysis and Improvement, Clear RTV on daily basisHold Material Reduction Meeting with OperationsReview of ERP HC Dials with material analystEnsure on time OSP TransactionsExcess & Obsolete Inventory AnalysisQualifications:Degree / Diploma in Mechanical engineering, 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, PPC and logistics dept. roles with prior shop floor management experience. Effective coordination with management and production team and can build effective relationships at all levels.
Skills:Should have good knowledge of ERP system.
Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
