We are looking to hire a strong Angular Developer proficient in front-end and back-end web development to join our dynamic global team. This person will be responsible maintaining and updating the code base related to Edwards’ proprietary EW1 Hybrid Web application, a mission-critical app used by our field sales teams to further our ability to deliver devices that maximize our patient’s recovery and quality of life. You will be tasked with using Angular best practices to create a streamlined user experience in a complex application, while ensuring quality control standards. The application includes mobile, desktop, data architecture, and Salesforce integrations.
How you will make an impact:
Using modern UI/UX and Angular best practices, develop software according to requirementsAdhere to development team standards for code quality and source code controlDocument code and expected application behaviorsAnalyze, diagnose, and fix performance, functional software, and end-user issuesDocument and demonstrate solutions by developing technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code on moderately complex issuesPerform manual testing in development environment to ensure software efficiencyWrite and maintain automated tests as related to UI/UX functionalityPerform regression risk assessments related to code changes for requested functionalityPerform peer code review for other members of the application development teamMaintain accurate status of tickets and tasks in project management systemDetermine and design moderately complex system specifications, standards, and programming including preparing and installing solutions within the scope of architecture, quality, security policiesWork is performed independently on more complex projects and/or lines of work and reviewed for accuracy and soundnessWhat you will need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and training in the specific technologies and programming languages that will be used for development requiredMinimum 1 year of experience developing Angular 17+ applicationsMinimum 1 year of experience developing responsive, cross-browser compatible web applicationsExperience developing with latest Ivy-based versions of Angular (17+)Expertise in Angular Reactive Form development with complex dynamic fields and validationsExpertise in web-based UI/UX best practices for a variety of devices and screen sizesExpertise in cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Safari) for web, desktop, and mobileExpertise in responsive and touch friendly UI/UX developmentExpertise with modern Angular UI libraries such as Ionic, Material, BootstrapExperience developing and maintaining reusable Angular components using best practicesDemonstrated experience with Git-based Source Control, and Continuous Integration (CI) practices (e.g. Git Flow)Knowledge of SQL queries and API development as needed to support UI/UX developmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in EnglishStrong analytical, detail-oriented, organized and information seeking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skillsWhat else we look for (Preferred):
