The Role:
We areseeking an Associate Investment Specialistto joinour content team. As an Associate Investment Specialistin ourSydneyofficeyou willbe responsible forsupporting our team operationally andsourcing andwritingstories which help investorsachieve their financial goals.Our content is published on morningstar.com.au, ourindividual and adviser paid research products and social media.
Morningstar’s flagshipAustralianwebsite provides investors with essential independentinsightson investing, retirement,and personal finance. TheAssociate Investment Specialistwill work with theother members of our content and research teams to produce unique multi-media editorial, incorporating investor education, commentary,and actionable investing ideas.
We are looking for adynamic/energeticself-starterwith an interest ininvesting whowants to develop content creation skillswhile supporting the team in expanding ourengagement with Australian investors.
This is an entry level opportunity to learn Morningstar’s investingphilosophy,our equity and manager researchmethodologyand our approach to personal finance.
Responsibilities:
Assistthe team in publishinganddisseminatingcontentby creatinginteractive charts,social media asset creation, podcast operational support,andmaintainingthe website
Generatewritten and videocontentwith an emphasis on ETF content
Utilise Morningstar products and tools to generate online content
Analyse Morningstar investment data and market trends to generate online editorial
Requirements:
Abachelor’sdegree or the equivalent
Knowledge of and interest in personal finance and investment
Interest in learning about content creation andinvestor engagement
Strong writing skills
Knowledge of or interest inlearning Canva, video editing software, etc.
Analytically-minded,with a keeninterest in data-driven content
Ability to work to demanding deadlines and to manage content according to the editorial schedule
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited right to work in Australia.
