Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Assist in end-to-end accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, employee benefits processing, and general ledger entriesPrepare and post routine journal entries along with complete and accurate supporting documentationSupport timely processing of payroll by validating inputs and coordinating with internal stakeholders for correctionsAssist in maintaining property tax, insurance, and other recurring financial schedules as per defined templates and timelinesPerform basic account reconciliations and support periodic close activities under supervisionHelp in preparation and maintenance of fixed asset registers and calculation of depreciation schedulesEnsure accuracy of financial data by performing basic validation checks and supporting quality review processesAssist in preparation of client deliverables and reports, ensuring timely submission as per agreed SLAsSupport client communication by responding to routine queries and escalating complex issues to Seniors/ManagersCoordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow execution and timely completion of assigned tasks within the project frameworkQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field required • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong academics may be consideredBasic understanding of accounting principles including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsExposure to accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks or similar platforms preferredWillingness to learn cloud-based accounting tools such as Yardi, Intacct, NetSuite, or other systemsAbility to work in a structured environment, follow defined processes, and ensure compliance with guidelinesStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity in all deliverablesGood communication skills with ability to work effectively within teams and support client interactions when requiredStrong ownership attitude with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately
