Essential Functions:
- Verifies merchandise and cash in each store using a hand held computer.
- Notifies store manager of incorrect prices and removes out-of-code merchandise.
- Counts and records cash, checks, and food stamps in registers, TACC tubes, and safes.
- Verifies money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits.
- Verifies gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water presence.
- Performs surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
- Adheres to safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Performs multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience in convenience stores.
- Valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability insurance required.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, talk, hear regularly; use hands to handle or grasp items frequently; occasionally stand, walk, and reach; can lift up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment: Moderate noise level with natural and fluorescent lighting.
