To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Engineer (Transfer of Automation Equipment) located in Tijuana .
The Automation Engineer role involves r esponsible for specifying, designing and maintaining automation equipment, tooling and applications as required to meet specifications.
What a typical day looks like:
- Project management for transfers.
- Project management with suppliers.
- Understand the machine operating standards, consequences of wear and tear parts and product defects
- Ensure the uptime of machines through regular preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance
- Should be willing to learn & enhance the skill in all type of Automation equipment.
- Should prepare why-why evaluation & drive for permanent corrective actions.
- Should be able to give feedback to improve the design of process and equipment.
- Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs
- Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.
- Collaborates and offers input to planning, building, and maintaining the Automation framework and associated processes for new products.
- Identifies and drives change to ensure automation effectiveness of existing processes.
The experience we're looking to add to our team: - Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related.
- Intermediate-advanced English.
- Knowledge of NPI equipment transfers.
- Focus on automated equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC Robots & Vision.
