Job Description:
The Portfolio Management Associate will support the development, execution, and continuous evaluation of investment strategies to achieve long-term financial objectives and enhance the client experience. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, responsibilities include managing a multi-asset portfolio emphasizing asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, performance monitoring, due diligence, and client reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Support investment strategy development and implementation aligned with clients' goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
- Assist in asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct due diligence and selection of external managers across diverse asset classes including public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, real assets, and alternatives.
- Utilize technology-driven tools for portfolio analysis, performance monitoring, and client reporting to ensure decision-making efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing with clients.
- Ensure compliance with investment policies and best institutional investing practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with external investment managers.
- Support presentations of investment recommendations and performance updates to clients and leadership.
- Assist with liquidity management, capital budgeting, and financial planning as needed.
- Stay current on market trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to endowment investing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant investment management experience with endowments, foundations, pension funds, or similar institutional investors.
- Knowledge of investment concepts including portfolio management, asset allocation, and manager due diligence across diverse asset classes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, articulate, and execute long-term investment strategies.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Additional Information:
This position’s duties may evolve over time. Expected annual base salary ranges from $150,000 to $160,000 USD, with actual pay dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additional compensation and benefits are offered separately.
