The Branch Manager role leads one or more Ameriprise owned branch offices. They are responsible for understanding the local market and executing a business plan to grow the branch profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement national recruiting strategy. Recruit high quality experienced advisors to your branch. Develop branch's unique value proposition and manage candidate experience.
- Drive profitable organic growth of the branch office through leadership, coaching, and delivery of the Ameriprise Client Experience.
- Lead the branch with integrity and perform front-line supervision to ensure sales activities align with client objectives.
- Develop strong local office culture focusing on peer learning, achievement orientation, and continuous development.
- Maintain or build personal wealth management practice serving clients through the Ameriprise Client Experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
- Obtain and maintain appropriate registrations for broker/dealer oversight and advisor training
- Active or ability to obtain FINRA Series 7, 24, state securities, insurance licenses within designated periods
- Proven success driving business growth and leadership skills
- Demonstrated sales success, self-driven, strong presentation skills
- P&L expense management and ability to analyze data
- Excellent compliance record and community networking ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree and/or relevant industry designations such as CFP
