Job Description
The Business Analyst role within the Performance Measurement Squad focuses on aggregating fund, benchmark, and composite performance data from critical sources to provide an accurate picture of performance across multiple time periods and currencies.
Responsibilities:
- Capturing and analyzing existing business processes and technology architecture to recommend improvements.
- Providing business analysis throughout all project phases.
- Leading small to medium-sized projects or specific elements of larger projects.
- Analyzing and documenting requirements for system and business process improvements.
- Reviewing requirements and designs with partners to acquire approval.
- Coordinating or assisting in user testing and resolving issues.
- Supporting delivered systems and their ongoing maintenance.
- Reporting project progress and issues to management on time.
- Creating cost/time estimates and project plans to enable prioritization and execution.
- Investigating third-party vendors or systems when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in business analyst roles.
- Experience with Snowflake, Eagle PACE, Performance, or equivalent products preferred.
- Knowledge of structured business analysis techniques including process reviews and requirements production.
- Ability to analyze problems and propose/implement solutions.
- Experience creating test plans and executing test cases.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Project and Office.
- Proficiency in SQL (SnowSQL, PL/SQL Developer) and exposure to Python.
- Broad knowledge of relevant business systems and processes, including institutional and retail performance.
