The Senior Hybrid Business Development Representative role is designed for someone who has already built strong foundations in business development, recruitment, or another activity driven outreach role and is now looking for their next level of impact. This is not a step sideways. It is a step up.
You will be a builder. Someone who enjoys creating structure, refining local processes, and helping shape how enterprise business development is executed in Japan within a global organisation. You will play a key role in solidifying top of funnel strategy and execution for the region, while representing Japan's perspective and performance on a global stage.

The role is a true hybrid of inbound and outbound business development. You will work with a strong flow of inbound interest while also prospecting into a large, established database and targeted outbound campaigns. Key accountabilities
- Own top of funnel pipeline generation for the Japan region across outbound and inbound
- Deliver high volume, high quality outbound activity with proven experience sustaining 80+ dials per day
- Execute at speed across phone, email, LinkedIn, and targeted campaigns
- Build and maintain a healthy, future focused pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual targets
- Design and execute outbound campaigns in partnership with Marketing and Sales
- Qualify opportunities using strong commercial judgement and buying signal alignment
- Act as a strategic voice for the Japan market, sharing insights and recommendations
- Report weekly and quarterly on activity, pipeline, and conversion to APJ BD and local Commercial leadership
- Represent the Business Development function confidently in leadership forums
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to continuously improve performance

What we are looking for
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Proven experience in high volume outbound business development
- Ability to consistently sustain 80+ dials per day
- Genuine passion for top of funnel prospecting and pipeline creation
- Ability to execute quickly without sacrificing quality
- Experience reporting performance and pipeline to senior leadership
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience selling to HR, Learning and Development, IT, or Finance leaders preferred
- Existing networks within enterprise or HR Japan markets highly desirable
- Experience contributing to or running outbound campaigns is a plus
- High operational discipline combined with strategic thinking
- Comfort with autonomy, accountability, and visibility
