
Junior Business & Reporting Analyst – Office of the COO

We’relooking for a Junior Business & Reporting Analyst to join our Office of the COO (OCOO), supporting a range of reporting, operational, and delivery-focused activities across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is analytical, adaptable, organised, and eager to learn. The role offers exposure across reporting, operational analysis, project delivery support, and business improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
WhatYou’llDo
Support the monthly execution of the firm’s cost allocation model, ensuring reporting isaccurate, consistent, and delivered within agreed timelines.
Prepare andmaintainrecurring business, operational, and project reporting across the Office of the COO.
Use Excel and other tools to clean, organise, analyse, and summarise data to support decision-making andidentifytrends or improvement opportunities.
Support delivery governance activities bymaintainingproject documentation, reporting, templates, and delivery data in line with agreed processes and standards.
Maintainaccurateand up-to-date project information relating to milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and actions, highlighting any gaps in governanceor data quality.
Produce delivery and portfolio reporting, highlighting key movements, trends, risks, exceptions, and areas requiring management attention.
Support the preparation of governance forums, including agenda planning, pack production, action tracking, and follow-up with delivery teams.
Identifyopportunities to simplify, standardise, and automate reporting, governance, and operational processes, including the use of AI-enabled tools whereappropriate.
Build reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate insights and progress updates.
Work collaboratively with teams across the business to support operational priorities and delivery outcomes.
WhatWe’reLooking For
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
Good communicationskills and the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with recurring reporting and data processes.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Adaptable and comfortable working across different responsibilities and projects.
A curious and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
Comfortable working with both data and operational/business-related tasks.
An interest in reporting, operations, project delivery, business analysis, or process improvement.
Experience with SQLor reporting tools would be beneficial but is not essential.
A degree in business, economics, finance, maths, or another analytical discipline is helpful but not essential.
