Job Summary
Supply Chain manages all aspects of procurement for the entire corporation, including IT, specialized equipment, facilities, engineering, design, research and development, consultants, and construction. This role involves sourcing and procurement of direct goods and services under US Government Prime Contracts.
Work Model
Full-time, 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA or Hill AFB, UT.
Responsibilities
- Administer sourcing and procurement of direct goods and services.
- Strong knowledge of subcontracting under FAR, using diverse contract types (T&M, Cost Type, FFP etc.).
- Evaluate and improve sourcing activities and current suppliers.
- Conduct formal market analysis on trends and influences impacting requirements.
- Select best contract approach, pricing models and governance.
- Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and awarding.
- Continuously evaluate suppliers, costs, and deliverability procedures.
- Document procurement packages according to FAR and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant direct procurement experience under US Government Prime Contract.
- Experience with subcontracting under FAR regulations.
- Understanding of full procurement cycle and SRM frameworks.
- Project management, financial acumen, and analytical skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP/S4/Ariba.
- Capability to explain procurement documentation per FAR.
- Experience in the aerospace industry and R&D procurement.
- Experience with strategic direct category agreements and fast-paced procurement.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $67,000 - $100,500.
