To support the Store Manager and manage store operations according to Company guidelines and lead Associates to ensure friendly, helpful service and drive profitable store sales.
What you'll do...
- Drive profitable sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management and sales forecasts, while analyzing sales reports and economic trends.
- Create and implement operational plans, delegate tasks, and ensure optimal store conditions including merchandise presentation, pricing, and store standards.
- Execute and monitor asset protection, safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Serve customers by ensuring customer needs are met and complaints resolved, modeling friendly and helpful customer service.
- Support store initiatives to serve the community and participate in company-sponsored programs and sustainability efforts.
- Lead Associates through meetings, communication of operational direction, recognizing achievements, and promoting professional growth.
- Provide timely and respectful performance feedback and corrective actions; build relationships with supporting functions within the store and district.
- Comply with company standards for handling all merchandise and ensure appropriate cash controls, handling up to $250,000 per day.
