The Digital Innovation Division (DID) is accountable for generating and executing integrated strategies, providing governance, and managing internal investments that form the foundation of Aerospace’s digital transformation.
Th Digital Innovation Divisionisseekingan experienced and dynamic leaderto supportModeling & Simulation (M&S) SoftwareIntegrationactivities for Aerospace and its customers.This role will provide leadership and advice to a range ofAerospace andgovernment customers seekingassistancewithdigital transformationintegrationefforts, especiallytechnicallydemanding activitiesrelated to thedevelopment of common softwarecomponentsand theirintegrationinto M&S Software applicationsand AIacrossmultiple classifications and platforms.You will lead efforts to defineM&Sinterfacestandards, drive interoperability across platforms, and ensure dataand softwarequality, security, compliance at scale, and enable agentic workflows.Inherentinthis jobwill beopportunitiestosignificantly influence the futureofdigital capabilitiesforboth the government and the AerospaceCorporation.

WhatYou’llBe Doing
Develop and execute digitalintegrationstrategy(-ies)in support ofAerospace andgovernment customers.Develop and drive digital integration strategies in support of Aerospace and government, with a focus on modernizing enterprise modeling and simulation workflows.
ArchitectscalableM&Ssolutions.Designand implement software solutions – including common physics and engineering model components–builton enterpriseModeling and Simulation libraries and frameworks. Lead architecture decisions that account fordiverse user requirements, use cases, andtrade spaceconstraints, ensuring solutions areoptimizedfor deployment acrosscloud andhigh-performancecomputing environments
Liaison.Serveas a senior liaison, providing proactive coordination and consultation toAerospace andcustomers; specifically, leadadoptionwith software development teams toestablishand mature CI/CD pipelines for M&S workflows, enabling automated testing, integration, and deployment of common components. Champion software engineering best practices – version control, containerization, automated validation – to accelerate delivery andimprove credibility across program
Drive organization-wide adoption. Develop and executeroadmaps and strategies to accelerate adoption ofcommon M&S softwarecomponentsacrossmultiple programs and teams. Buildandencourage a communityofpractice,establishfeedback loops with development teams,measure adoption,and performance metrics todemonstratevalue and secure stakeholder buy-in.
Provide integratedperspective.Provideexpertisethat incorporatesthe needs of Aerospace andthe range ofstakeholderstoensure thatadvice and solutions reflect consistent,balanced, andintegrated strategiesbased on what is best for theentirespace enterprise.aligningcross functional teams around goals and timelines.
What You Need to be Successful
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM or other technical discipline
10or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineeringroles, especially related to DEand M&S.
Hands-on software development experience in C++ and/or Python, particularlyin the contextof building,maintaining, or integrating enterprise-scale M&S libraries, physics, models, or simulation frameworks
Knowledge ofand experience with DE and M&Secosystems, cloudand HPC environments and services, data management, AI/ML technologies
Expertisewith CI/CD tools and practices including platforms such as GitLabCI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions– withdemonstratedexperience designing or managing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines forsimulationsoftware
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability tocovey complex technical and mission focusedconceptsacross a broadrange ofaudiencesandmultipledisciplines.
Ability to Initiate acquisition of technical support fromappropriate corporateresources
Track record in building technical proficiency through mentoring and talent development initiatives
This position requires ability to obtain andmaintaina security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship isrequiredto obtain a security clearance.

Experience in space domain modeling, simulation, and analysis
Demonstrated success leading large-scalesoftware development andintegrationprojects
Direct experience with cloud, data, AIserviceprovidersand/or platforms
Direct experience with DoD, NNSA,orcivilspace missions and capabilities
Effective communication skills, to include the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and conciselytovarious typesof stakeholders
Knowledge / experience with specificDOD,NNSA, or civil space digital environments
Experience developing or deploying agentic AI systems,includingdesigningmulti-agent workflows,autonomousreasoning frameworks appliedtoM&S orchestration, or decision support in complex technical environments
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and mission focused stakeholders across multiple constituencies.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability
Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration across multi-organizational teams
Current DoD TS and SSBI/SCI Clearance

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
