Your Opportunity
The Drug and Alcohol Treatment Service (DATS) in South Hedland is a community-based program supporting young people aged 12–25 across the Pilbara who are experiencing challenges related to alcohol and other drug use. Working within a trauma-informed, harm-reduction framework, the service focuses on strengthening resilience, building confidence, and helping young people navigate complex circumstances through tailored interventions, family engagement, and community collaboration.
In this role, you will deliver frontline case management to young people with diverse and often high needs, supporting them to reduce risk-taking behaviours and achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes. While the position is embedded within the local community, this is an on-site position that also involves outreach across the region, providing flexible and responsive support. You will work closely with families, stakeholders, and service providers to build strong referral pathways and ensure holistic, wraparound care, while managing a dynamic caseload in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.
