The Role:

The Catering Bar Supervisor leads bar operations during catered events including games, concerts, and private functions. Responsibilities include managing bartenders and barbacks, ensuring smooth and responsible beverage service, maintaining inventory, enforcing service policies, and collaborating with Catering and Beverage Managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee bar setup, service, and breakdown during catered events.
• Manage bartenders and bar attendants ensuring professionalism and efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked bar areas.
• Manage bar inventories and communicate needs.
• Keep accurate logs of product usage and waste.
• Train staff on pouring techniques, customer service, and responsible alcohol service.
• Assist with guest service and resolve concerns.
• Maintain communication with operations and catering teams.
• Enforce uniform, grooming, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years bartending experience, 1+ year in supervisory role preferred.
• Knowledge of bar operations and responsible alcohol service.
• Must have or obtain Responsible Alcohol Service and Food Safety Certifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in fast-paced environments.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs, stand long periods, and perform bar duties.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and availability for all home games and major events.
