Consulting Senior Associate - Liability Portfolio Management & Remediation

ERM is seeking a motivated Junior Consultant to join our Liability Portfolio Management & Remediation (LPMR) team. The role involves supporting contaminated site investigation and groundwater remediation projects, delivering high-quality technical work, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Roles and Responsibilities

• Support delivery of ERM projects by managing multiple tasks and building effective working relationships across technical communities.
• Design and implement site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling and high-resolution site characterization.
• Assist in remedial design, conceptual site model (CSM) development, proposal preparation, and technical report writing.
• Participate in remediation projects, including planning, monitoring, and execution of remedial activities.
• Maintain health & safety standards during fieldwork and project execution.
• Coordinate field activities and manage subcontractors during site operations.
• Contribute to project management activities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation projects.
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements on work sites.
• Hands-on fieldwork experience in soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and site characterization.
• Proven report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to manage field activities and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken English) and willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple assignments, and meet strict deadlines.
