
The Senior Analyst will work within the Consumer Insights Team torepresentthe “voice of the consumer”formultiple brands in the Inspire portfolio. This will involve delivering fact-based consumer and customer understanding through primary consumer research, market segmentation,andconsumer surveys. This person will also supportadditionaldata analysis of internal and externalsecondary and syndicatedsources to help inform understanding of brand reputation, consumer experience, andlikely responseto brand initiatives.
*This position is required onsite 4 days per week, typically Monday- Thursday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead theconsumer researchprocessandidentifyactionable insights and unmet consumer needs that inform the basis for marketing activations and new product offerings
Identifyand providebusiness-mindedinsights and recommendations on industry and consumer trends,and competitive activities topotentiallyimpactcompany strategy and business decisions
Managevendor relationships including scheduling, planning, and monitoring consumer research projects
Learn and developexpertiseof various data sources as needed to support brands, product, or category deep-dives with support from the Insightsleadership
Develop strong relationships with internalbusiness partners, including presentation of findings and understanding brand needs
Mine consumer researchand other sourcestoidentifygrowth targets, triggers and barriers,and demand space opportunities
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: 4 yr degree in Marketing,Psychology,Statistics,Social Sciences, or a related field
Preferred:Master’s Degreein Market Research (MMR)
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Minimum: 4+ yrs of experience in Market Research, Consumer Insights, or related field
Preferred: Restaurant chain, food manufacturer, consumer packaged goods company, or marketing research supplier.Ability to access and interpret syndicated data(e.g.,CircanaCheckout and Decision Key)alsopreferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSor ABILITIES
A strategic mindset andpassion for solving business problems using quantitative data driven methods and information (data discovery, data visualization, and data mining)
Experience with research platforms (e.g.Qualtrics, Decipher) and Microsoft Suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
An ability to communicatequalitative andquantitative analyses inclear,conciseand actionable manner
Logic-driven understanding of data including consumer, competitive and business metrics
Ability towork autonomouslywith minimal direction
Ability to tell the storybysynthesizingdatafrom multiple sources
Strong interpersonal skills
