You will learn the design of Material Handling Systems and responsible for design and solve issues through Vanderlande control engineering knowledge. Then, focus on bridging the engineering team globally and support coordinating with design consultants, contractors and clients regularly.
Job Description
- Participate in system design including advising and reviewing projects in sales phase, translating and optimizing as sold functionality to working LLC design within budget, recognizing differences from Vanderlande Standard, identifying specials, coordinating design, and proactively reacting to risks and technical problems.
- Create/configure LLC software by detailed design, realizing control applications, project-specific software functions.
- Commission LLC software including pre-commissioning, commissioning, LLC integration, and volume testing with project team.
- Test and validate software by creating documentation, test and validation plans, module/interface tests, executing tests on site or in house.
- Plan, report, and perform teamwork by creating detailed LLC planning, reporting progress, delivering scope on time and budget.
- Continuous improvement by transferring knowledge, initiating improvements, feeding back lessons learned, building customer reputation, and creating effective relationships.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Siemens PLC is a plus.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Basic knowledge in EM components, cabinets and field wiring.
- Basic knowledge of relevant project engineering processes.
- Willing and able to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
Your Profile
Skills & Abilities
- Develop LLC code in platforms such as Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, FSC.
- Knowledge of SCADA applications (WinCC, WebFactory).
- Develop safety systems using Siemens S7-F, PILZ, conventional platforms.
- Knowledge of IT network designs.
- Perform health and safety risk analysis at component/system level.
- Understand material handling systems and customer processes in relevant markets.
- Knowledge of test strategies, methods, risk analysis and tooling (Quality Center, UFT/QTP, Jenkins, emulation tools).
- Knowledge of material handling equipment like DOTM, RAW, ICS, ASRS, loops.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering and business process automation (HLC) processes.
