About this position:

What you'll do:

• Under the direction of the Cook, assists in preparation all foods required as per daily production schedules and catering events
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of food production areas, equipment and kitchen, as per the sanitation plan and signs off mandatory records of completed work
• Employs Food Safe including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), protocols in all areas of work and follows the food safety plan

What you'll need:

• Experience assisting in the preparation of meals in a health care environment preferred
• Awareness of provincial health and safety regulations
• Ability to effectively organize work to respond to needs of a high volume environment
• Good communication of English both orally and in writing;
• Food Safe - Level I certification required

Wage Levelling Salary: $24.34 per hour
