As a key member of our Network Experience and Events team, you will play a vital role in planning and executing events that elevate experiences for our network.In this role, you willbe responsible forsupporting the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, including conferences, departmental events for our cross-functional teams, social gatherings, and other special experiences, ensuring they are engaging, impactful, and memorable.
This role is based out of our Toronto Support Centre (181 Bay Street), with in-office work Monday through Thursday and Fridaysdesignatedas a work-from-home day. Candidates must be willing and able to travel asrequiredand hold a valid passport.This role also requires flexibility to work hours outside of a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, including evenings and weekends, to support events and business needs. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to varying schedules are essential to ensure the successful execution of our events and initiatives.
In this role, you will
Oversee and manage incoming emails in the Event team inboxes.
Support the Events Manager with building andmaintainingevent budgets, timelines, and schedules.
Source and secure quotes for venues and vendors, including caterers, florists, photographers, DJs,etc.
Manage event registration and reporting including guest lists, RSVPs, and dietary restrictions through our event management platform, Cvent.
Track corporate event card expenses andsubmitmonthly reports to Accounts Payable.
Process invoices and manage vendor setup in the Accounts Payable system.
Support post-event evaluations, including analysis and recommendations for improvements.
Assistwith the development of event promotional materials, including invite communications, and ensuring they are deployed in our channels.
Build andmaintainrelationships with key internal stakeholders.
Contribute to a strongteamculture to drive the success of event initiatives.
Whatwe'relooking for
Approximately 1to 3 years of hospitality, event management or planning experience.
Exceptional client service experience.
Aptitude to differentiate when to act independently or within a team.
Open-mindedness to collaboration within the team environment.
Proven ability to meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment.
Experience preparing event correspondence.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work on more than one event at a time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability tomaintainpoise and professionalism under pressure.
Proficient in Word,Exceland PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Asana and Cvent is an asset.
Meticulous attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 CAD annually. Offers within this range aredeterminedbased on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
