This organization partners with field teams and customers to maintain product performance through comprehensive services, including tool management, expert engineering support, worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support, knowledge management, and extensive parts network.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Work under supervision to update, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows.
- Represent the company to customers and ensure customer satisfaction with services provided.
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems via telephone or on site; repair and update equipment to enhance customer production.
- Repair system-level problems without standard procedures based on knowledge, training, and certification.
- Assess customer processes for issues like chemical leaks or contamination and recommend actions such as fab shutdowns for safety.
- Prepare service reports and documentation on recurring problems; assist in preparing quotes for labor, travel expenses, and parts.
- Assist other field service engineers and provide guidance to Installation Engineers during installations or demonstrations.
- Travel to customer facilities as needed.
- Contribute to knowledge management efforts including capturing, reuse, collaboration, and improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience or equivalent.
