Riverland Community College is seeking a part-time Customized Training Welding Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching and passionate about helping students succeed. The instructor will teach in a traditional classroom and lab format.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in Welding.
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding.
- One year of welding work experience within the last five years or two years of successful full-time postsecondary teaching in the credential field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to collaborate with community partners.
- Bilingual/multilingual fluency in languages such as Spanish, Karen, Somali, French, and others reflective of the student body.
- Experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
Other Requirements:

Additional Information:
The position is intermittent, non-credit, limited academic fixed term. Work shift varies based on need and telework is not available. The salary range is $44,144 to $96,906 based on experience.
