Customized Training - Welding Instructor

Riverland Community College is seeking a part-time Customized Training - Welding Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching. The instructor will teach in a traditional classroom and lab format. The position requires a diploma in welding and at least four years of related work experience, with recent experience or equivalent postsecondary teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include willingness to collaborate with community partners and multilingual fluency reflecting the student body. The role involves working varied hours as needed, with no telework option. Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Welding
• Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding
• Recent work experience within five years or two years postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to collaborate with community partners
• Bilingual/multilingual fluency in languages such as Spanish, Karen, Somali, etc.
• Experience working with multicultural and underserved populations
