The Data Analytics Services (DAS) team within the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) focuses on building and maintaining Power BI dashboards primarily in the finance domain. The Data Analytics - Analyst will collaborate with peers and stakeholders to gather requirements and design interactive dashboards using Power BI. Responsibilities include data integration from diverse sources, developing complex data models with advanced DAX calculations, implementing security and performance tuning, managing dataflows and publishing reports to business users, and maintaining documentation.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and understand data visualization needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards using data from SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud services.
- Develop complex data models, implement advanced DAX and Power Query transformations ensuring performance with large datasets.
- Implement row-level security, data refresh schedules, optimize report performance, and address bottlenecks.
- Create and manage dataflows, datasets, and apps in Power BI Service and share securely with business user groups.
- Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and data transformation processes.
About you:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI and Qlik Sense.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in international and cross-functional settings.
- Advanced technical skills in Power Query Editor, DAX, Power BI Development, SQL, and Excel.
- Experience with project methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and a background in data science for machine learning business cases is a plus.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in English.
