As a Deals - Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services - Manager, you will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational business events that may impact an organization's value. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.
In this role, you will be part of our Deals practice, focusing on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. You will help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals.
Responsibilities
Leading client engagements in capital markets accounting advisory services, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuringProviding strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to complex transactionsManaging and mentoring teams to deliver quality outcomes and meet client expectationsDeveloping and implementing project plans, confirming successful planning, budgeting, and executionAnalyzing and identifying linkages between financial systems and transaction structuresAdvising clients on capital market transactions, including IPO preparation and equity compensationUtilizing technical skills in financial modeling and GAAP financial reporting to support client needsCollaborating with team leadership to maintain quality and timelines for deliverablesEncouraging innovation and embracing technology to enhance service deliveryAddressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with stakeholders to resolve issuesWhat You Must Have
At least a Bachelor's degreeAt least 4 years of experienceAt least one of the following: an active CPA LicenseWhat Sets You Apart
Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Coursework and/or a concentration in valuation methods, Other fields of study that provide a solid foundation for understanding how manufacturing and production facilities create products may be consideredDemonstrating proficiency in financial modeling and reportingUtilizing Alteryx for automation in accounting processesExcelling in project management within capital marketsEmbracing change and innovation in financial advisory servicesDeveloping skills in IFRS conversions and GAAP reportingMentoring team members in technical accounting and advisory servicesThe salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
