The Opportunity
As a Deals - Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services - Senior Manager, you will provide strategic guidance on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. Within our Deals practice, you will focus on advising clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational business events that may impact an organization's value. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your influence, skills, and network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate.
In this role, you will craft and convey clear, impactful, and engaging messages that tell a holistic story. You will apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities, validate outcomes with clients, and share alternative perspectives. Directing the team through complexity, you will demonstrate composure through ambiguous, challenging, and uncertain situations. Your ability to develop and sustain diverse and inclusive teams, along with your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our firm.

Providing strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to complex transactionsAdvising clients on capital markets topics, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuringLeading teams in the preparation and review of financial statements and transaction structuresUtilizing skills in accounting modeling and financial structuring to maximize client valueCoordinating project management efforts to streamline processes and enhance efficiencyApplying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities in client engagementsValidating outcomes with clients and incorporating feedback to refine advisory servicesDeveloping and sustaining diverse and inclusive teams to drive operational excellenceCrafting and conveying clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story to stakeholdersDirecting teams through complex situations with composure and strategic questioningWhat You Must Have
At least a Bachelor's degreeAt least 6 years of experienceAt least one of the following: an active CPA LicenseWhat Sets You Apart
Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Coursework and/or a concentration in valuation methods, Other fields of study that provide a solid foundation for understanding how manufacturing and production facilities create products may be consideredDemonstrating proficiency in capital markets transactions and financial structuringUtilizing advanced skills in IFRS conversions and GAAP financial reportingExcelling in project management frameworks and PMO developmentApplying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunitiesValidating outcomes with clients and acting on feedbackDirecting teams through complexity with composure and strategic questioningThe salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
