Le dpartement Dveloppement de Human Rights Watch (HRW) recherche actuellement un tudiant stagiaire pour son bureau parisien. Idalement, le stagiaire sera disponible en temps complet (35 heures par semaine) pendant 6 mois, de septembre 2026 fvrier 2027, les dates tant flexibles.

Responsabilits:

L'tudiant(e) effectuera son stage en troite collaboration avec les membres de l'quipe Dveloppement, notamment la Charge de Dveloppement Paris. Le stage sera principalement ax sur les activits suivantes:

• Aider la prparation et organisation de diffrents vnements (dner annuel de rcolte de fond, runions donateurs, etc.);
• Raliser des recherches sur des donateurs prospects;
• Tenir jour les documents et les enregistrements de la base de donnes;
• Assister lquipe de dveloppement la rdaction de documents et autres correspondances lis la sensibilisation des donateurs;
• Soutenir lquipe de dveloppement la cration de matriel promotionnel et d'envois postaux;
• Collaborer avec lquipe de dveloppement pour lexploitation de la base de donnes de collecte de fonds et de gestion des donateurs; et
• Traduire des documents en anglais et/ou en franais.

Ce stage convient aux personnes dsireuses d'acqurir une exprience au sein d'un petit bureau d'une grande organisation internationale but non lucratif. Afin doffrir une exprience de stage enrichissante et stimulante, le stagiaire assistera des runions de planification avec les autres membres du dpartement et pourra avoir l'occasion de participer des formations et des runions d'information internes. L'tudiant(e) aura galement l'occasion d'assister des confrences, des formations, des ateliers de dveloppement professionnel, des vnements spciaux lis aux droits humains, ainsi que d'tablir des contacts avec d'autres stagiaires, bnvoles et employs de HRW. En tant que stagiaire de HRW, l'tudiant(e) utilisera les comptences acquises au cours de sa formation et les appliquera dans un cadre professionnel.

Qualifications:

• Etudiant niveau Master en Management, Evnementiel, Communication, ou tout autre domaine similaire seront privilgis.
• Une parfaite matrise du franais (oral et crit) et des comptences avances en anglais sont requises.
• Une exprience dans une association et/ou une exprience l'tranger est une valeur ajoute.
• Les candidats bien organiss, motivs et fiables, ayant un intrt marqu pour les droits humains, sont fortement privilgis.

Les candidats qui se voient proposer un stage doivent tre en possession d'une autorisation de stage en France valide pour la dure du stage.

Rmunration: La rmunration du stage varie selon la juridiction, conformment aux droit local et la politique de Human Rights Watch (HRW). Les stagiaires en France recevront 5.50 euros par heure de prsence au bureau. Human Rights Watch remboursera galement 50% des frais de transport des stagiaires. Les tudiants sont souvent en mesure d'obtenir des crdits universitaires, car les stages de HRW peuvent offrir une exposition directe au fonctionnement d'une organisation internationale de dfense des droits humains, une supervision troite par les quipes de HRW et une interaction avec d'autres organisations internationales et des reprsentants gouvernementaux trangers et nationaux. Les tudiants doivent se renseigner auprs de leur tablissement d'enseignement pour connatre les conditions requises.

Internship Description: The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is currently seeking a student intern for its Paris office. Ideally, the intern will be available full-time, (35 hours per week), for 6 months, starting from September 2026 through February 2027, dates and times are flexible.

Responsibilities The internship will primarily focus on assisting with fundraising, event planning, prospect research, database management, and maintaining contact with donors and partner organizations. Below are some of projects the intern will contribute to under close supervision of the Associate Director and the Coordinator of the Development team, although other projects may be assigned as they arise:

• Helping prepare and organize different events (annual fundraising dinner, donor meetings, etc.);
• Conducting prospect research;
• Updating and maintaining documents and database records;
• Assisting the Development team with drafting documents and other correspondence related to donor outreach;
• Supporting the Development team in creating promotional materials and mailings;
• Collaborating with the team on operating the fundraising and donor management database; and
• Supporting in the translation of documents to English and/or to French.

This internship is best suited for individuals interested in gaining experience within a small office of a large, well-organized, international non-profit organization. The intern will gain knowledge of the organization's priority human rights issues and build skills in event planning, fundraising, and information tracking. In order to provide a valuable and well-rounded internship experience, interns may attend planning and department staff meetings and may have the opportunity to attend in-house trainings and briefings. Students will also have opportunities to attend lectures, trainings, professional development workshops, special events relating to human rights, as well as network with other HRW interns, volunteers, and employees. As an HRW intern, students will take skills acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting.

Qualifications:

• Students with a Master's degree in Management, Event Management, Communication, or any other similar field will be preferred;
• Applicants with a perfect command of French (oral and written) and advanced skills in English are required;
• Experience in an association and/or experience abroad is an added value; and
• Students who are well-organised, motivated, and reliable candidates with a strong interest in human rights are strongly preferred.

Applicants who are offered an internship must possess valid work authorization in France for the duration of the internship.

Compensation: Internship compensation varies by jurisdiction based on local laws and HRW policy.Interns in France will receive EUR 5.50 per hour of office attendance. Human Rights Watch will also reimburse 50% of the intern's transportation costs. Students are often able to earn academic credit, as HRW internships can offer direct exposure to the workings of an international human rights organization, close supervision by HRW staff, and interaction with other international organizations and foreign and domestic government officials. Students should check with their educational institution for requirements.
