What will you do?

We're looking for two Digital Designers for one 12-month contract position estimated to end in August 2027, and one 18-month contract position estimated to end in February 2028. Are you a pro at designing purr-fectly paw-some digital experiences? You appreciate the diverse creative choices made in online content, recognizing the need for authenticity across different platforms. If you're a talented designer with a knack for creating compelling visuals that make Devoted Pet Lovers (and their pets) smile, you might just be the missing piece to our pack!

Responsibilities

• Become a digital pet whisperer: Collaborate with our talented team (designers, copywriter, marketers – the whole shebang!) to develop engaging customer-centric, on-brand designs that bring our 360 marketing campaigns to life – including website components, digital ads, motion graphics, email, social media and in-store POP.
• Showcase your creativity: Interpret creative briefs like a pro, develop innovative designs and adapt existing artwork with ease that align with our brand standards. For big campaigns you love ideating through collaborative brainstorming, development, and mood boards and can take a project from concept through completion! Think you can capture the playful spirit of a golden retriever in an Instagram post? We're betting you can.
• Make it rain (cat treats… metaphorically): Design digital assets that drive engagement, boost brand awareness, and ultimately help us connect with Devoted Pet Parents who love their pets as much as we do.
• Be a team player (because teamwork makes the dream work!): Work closely with the marketing team to ensure your designs are aligned with overall brand strategy and campaign.
• Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up with the latest digital design trends and technologies, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table. We're always looking for new ways to capture our audience (and make their tails wag!).

Qualifications & Experience

• A Passion for Pets: Seriously, we're not kitten around! You love animals as much as we do.

• A Killer Portfolio: Show us your best work - the stuff that makes you proud! We want to see a range of digital design projects that demonstrate your skills and creativity.

• You're a master of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects.

• 3-5 years of solid design and production experience with digital, motion graphics, print, branding design background.

• Graphic design/Web diploma from a recognized Community college or University.

• You approach projects with meticulous attention to detail and ensure high-quality control while managing multiple projects with an organized approach.

• Experience using Asana project management and digital asset management tools.

Compensation:

The targeted salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$75,000.00 annually. The final offer will be based on factors such as market location, relevant skills, experience and internal equity.
