We are looking for a Partner Sales Manager to grow our channel business through distributors and Tier 2 partners. The role will focus on partner development, reseller engagement, and joint Go-to-Market activities to drive business growth in Japan.
Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth
Support revenue growth through collaboration with distributors and Tier 2 partners• Work together to identify opportunities and expand market presence
• Assist in GTM activities and partner-driven sales initiatives
• Support pipeline management and forecasting
Partner Management & Development
Support onboarding and development of distributors and Tier 2 partners• Collaborate on business planning and GTM activities across partner ecosystem
• Help enable and engage Tier 2 partners to expand market coverage
• Build trusted relationships through regular communication
• Provide training, guidance, and resources to support partner success
• Support periodic business reviews and ongoing improvement
• Act as a key contact point for partner support
Business Operations
Work with distributors and Tier 2 partners to support deal structuring and execution• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processes (e.g., quoting, ordering)
• Assist with partner onboarding and basic agreement processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborates across Sales, SE, and partner teams globally• Enables partners to engage Equinix resources for solutioning and sales
Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development in the IT industryExperience working with distributors and reseller partners
Skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to collaborate with partners and internal teamsExperience managing opportunities and sales pipelines
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of the Japan partner ecosystem preferredSelf-motivated team player

経験
IT業界におけるチャネル営業、パートナーマネジメント、または事業開発の経験(5年以上)ディストリビューターやリセラーパートナーとの協業経験スキル
優れたコミュニケーション能力およびリレーションシップ構築力パートナーおよび社内関係者と協働できる能力案件管理およびセールスパイプライン管理の経験学歴
学士号取得者歓迎(同等の実務経験をお持ちの方も歓迎)その他
