POSITION SPECIFICS
The Bennett Family Center, on the University Park campus, is seeking a candidate for an Early Childhood Development Educator – Intermediate Professional (working with children 6 wks to 3 years old)committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for young children and families.

This position minimally requires a Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or minimum of Child Development (CDA) Credential; see Commonwealth of Pennsylvania PA Career Lattice information and NAEYC guidelines for typical experience and education requirements Required Certifications: NoneA health physical with TB test is required prior to starting the position.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR). Additional clearances may be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa.
