POSITION SPECIFICS
The Bennett Family Center is seeking an Early Childhood Development Educator -Pre-K Counts committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for children and families. Assignment will be in a preschool classroom.

This position minimally requires a Bachelor's degree, plus 1 year of relevant experience.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or minimum of Child Development (CDA) Credential; see Commonwealth of Pennsylvania PA Career Lattice information and NAEYC guidelines for typical experience and education requirements Required Certifications: NoneRequired to hold PA Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification. Previous work experience using the Environmental Rating Scale (ERS), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and PA Early Learning Standards (ELS) highly desired.
A health physical with TB test is also required prior to starting the position.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR). Additional clearances may be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa.
