CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader, seeks a software engineer for their global TechOps CICD Software Delivery Automation team. The role involves designing and building scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions, enhancing developer experience, ensuring pipeline reliability, and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize software delivery processes. Candidates should have strong experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, programming skills in Python, Go, or PowerShell, and front-end development expertise with React, Next.js, and related frameworks. Responsibilities include implementing monitoring and automated remediation, developing modern web applications, and contributing to testing and build tool optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using modern DevOps tools.
- Create self-service tools and frameworks to reduce developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance.
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using front-end technologies.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies across the CI/CD pipeline.
- Create and optimize build tools and development workflows.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services.
- Version control experience with advanced Git workflows.
- Front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and knowledge of Vue.js, Ember.js.
- Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and build tools such as Ember CLI, Webpack, and Vite.
