The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Enterprise Operations Specialist to support the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The role involves monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure systems while driving continuous process improvements and providing advanced end-user support. Key responsibilities include ensuring system availability, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, optimizing IT operations, and maintaining secure, efficient environments across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- System engineering expertise in Windows-based environment including Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Windows Server.
- Automated management of endpoints and field services for efficient deployment and monitoring.
- Cross-team coordination and communication with internal teams and external vendors.
- Monitoring storage capacity and troubleshooting backup and storage issues.
- Patch and application remediation within Windows environment.
- Reporting and compliance ensuring adherence to standards and security policies.
- Software license and asset management.
- Application support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications.
- Training and knowledge transfer to end users and internal teams.
- Operations and maintenance support for systems and devices including Azure Cloud.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process improvement focus.
- Collaboration with engineering teams, SLA tracking, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma with 2-6 years of experience.
- DoD Secret clearance required.
- DoD 8140 compliance certification (e.g., Security+).
- Experience with Microsoft and third-party software deployment and troubleshooting.
- Experience in DoD environment, proficiency in endpoint operating systems, MDM and EMM knowledge.
- Familiarity with cloud services, networking concepts, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of STIG, IEEE, cybersecurity best practices, ITILv4, Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, time-management, and team skills.
Desired:
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Ability to work independently to identify and resolve problems.
