Executive, Social Media Content (Mandarin speaker)

Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Social Media Executive who can do it all — from planning content calendars to picking up a camera and editing the final cut. This is a hybrid content + strategy role, ideal for someone who thinks like a creator and executes like a marketer. Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required to manage content and engagement for our Chinese-speaking audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and schedule content across social platforms
• Shoot photo and video content using DSLR/mirrorless cameras and mobile setups (lighting, framing, audio)
• Edit videos and photos using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Photoshop/Lightroom
• Write and manage bilingual captions, posts, and community responses in English and Chinese
• Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform algorithm changes to keep content fresh and relevant
• Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and adjust strategy accordingly
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams on campaigns and launches
• Stay on top of content calendars, deadlines, and posting schedules

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in social media management or content creation
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) and English
• Hands-on experience shooting and editing photo/video content
• Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or similar)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms popular in both Western and Chinese markets
• Creative eye for visual storytelling and trend awareness
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at once
