Expert, DCR Platform & Integration Lead - Salesforce Platform

About the Role
We are looking for a Salesforce Platform & Integration Lead to own the technical leadership, integration strategy, and delivery of the Salesforce-based bFO platform.
This role is critical to ensuring platform stability, scalability, and seamless enterprise integrations, while driving modern, API-first architecture across systems.
You will operate at the intersection of platform engineering, integration architecture, and delivery leadership, acting as the central authority for platform design, API enablement, and cross-system data flows.
Key Responsibilities
Own Platform & Integration Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the Salesforce platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance
- Drive execution across multiple teams, releases, and initiatives
- Ensure alignment of delivery with business priorities and platform roadmap
- Own incident resolution, platform reliability, and operational excellence
Lead Integration & API Architecture
- Define and drive the integration strategy across Salesforce and enterprise systems
- Design scalable solutions across:
- REST APIs and platform APIs
- Event-driven and asynchronous integrations
- Middleware and microservices
- Ensure APIs are reusable, secure, and productised assets
- Oversee end-to-end API lifecycle governance (design build deploy operate)
Provide Technical Leadership & Architecture Governance
- Act as the primary technical authority for Salesforce platform and integrations
- Guide development teams on:
- Apex, LWC, integrations, and best practices
- Data model design and governance
- Platform limits, performance optimisation, and scalability
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and integration standards
- Drive resolution of complex system and integration challenges
Drive Platform Stability, Security & Governance
- Ensure high standards of platform performance, resilience, and availability
- Enforce security, compliance, and data protection practices
- Lead governance across:
- DevSecOps and code quality
- Release and deployment processes
- API and data standards
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Business teams
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple systems and stakeholders
- Provide clear communication to leadership on risks, progress, and outcomes
- Build strong collaboration across Integration, Security, and Data teams
Drive Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to modernise platform and integration landscape
- Promote adoption of API-first, event-driven, and automation-based solutions
- Leverage platform metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement
- Champion reusability and standardisation across integrations
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong experience in Salesforce platform engineering / integration leadership
- Deep expertise in:
- Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
- Apex, LWC, integrations, and APIs
- Proven experience in enterprise integration architecture (REST, events, middleware)
- Strong understanding of API lifecycle, governance, and platform design
- Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to API gateways, microservices architecture
- Knowledge of enterprise data architecture and governance
- Experience in large-scale enterprise platforms (multi-org/multi-system)
