About the Role
The Fabrication technicianis responsible forplanning,executing anddocumentingparts- and assembly fabricationfor all relevantCrown Jewel parts, applications andequipment’sincluding, but not limited to,wiring, system partsfabricationandinstallation as well ashandlingof A-surface parts.
This rolewill beinterfacingmultiple stakeholdersincluding, but not limited to,Industrial designers,Hardware, Software and Mechanical Engineers, SystemArchitects and System Engineers.
What YouWillDo
Coordinate and facilitate both parts fabrication and full Crown Jewel platform and applicationbuildsforcustommadeA-surfacecontained applications to be used for various purposes like, but not limited to,Crown Jewelstandalonetabletoppresentation modules, experience and concept car integrationsin accordance with specifications and guidance from the engineering team.
Installsystem wiringand system componentsintotest racks andCrown Jewelsin accordance withspecifications and guidance from the engineering team
Fabrication shop upkeep (parts bin, supply bin)
Attending and providing constructive feedback in kick off meetings and other meetings
Project time management and estimates
Plan,coordinateand communicateallrelevantaspects with suppliersand ensuretimelydeliverables to meet committed project planning(CAD data, support prototypes, get them all components for completion)
Liaison betweenengineering andfabshop and industrial design and suppliers
Quality assurance of outgoing productsto ensure deliverables arein accordance withinitialagreements or specifications
Ensure lessons learnedisbeing used for continuous improvement of processes, timing,costand quality.
What You Need to Be Successful
Techniciandegree level or higher
1+ years of experience in custom part design and installations,solderingand hardware installation
Experience in handling A-surface parts as well as detailed mechanical assemblies
Experience with wiring electrical systems
Use of all hand tools and shop equipment
Experience with metal work and parts fabrication
Experience with vinyl, leather, fabric wrapping
Ability to speakand write English as all communication and documentation will be in English
Danish language skills are mandatory for this position, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken contexts
Hands-on mentality
Excellent organizational skills
Ability of using MS Office products
Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously
Good analyticand communicationskills

This position requires the use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle. As such, any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated and determined in HARMAN’s sole discretion, no more than 4 active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency), and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.
